About Us
Omisona Fasina is a speaker, author and therapist. She has a passion for working with high achievers who are ready to let go of past events that have prevented them from getting on with their lives. She has a 20 year history of working with people at various stages in their lives; in the NHS as a nurse then midwife, founder of the Charity Parents and Children Together, she has spent many years working in the personal development field.
Her clients have often expressed a preference to spend less time in therapy and more time enjoying the benefits, insights and healing that therapy offers, with that in mind she has developed a process that can very quickly move people on from past events that are a barrier to them living more fulfilling lives, and does so within 8 sessions.
“I believe that we all have the capacity to be who we want to be, it does require that we achieve certain things:
1. Become self aware
2. Take responsibility for our actions and non actions
3. Be prepared to do what ever it takes to allow ourselves to grow, and do it with patience, consistency and an open mind.
Why become self aware?
This is our operating manual without it we are functioning from a place of habit and ignorance.
When we are self-aware, our self-esteem and confidence grows and we learn to respond appropriately.
Taking responsibility for our actions and non actions
Living in a culture where it is easier to blame, creates an unwitting blind spot. When we take responsibility for our stuff, it creates a natural place where we can listen, and hear more effectively. We also learn to become authentic in all our interactions.
To do whatever it takes to grow
We give ourselves permission to be the best we can be. We are more willing to share the best of us whilst accepting our shadow selves, and by default we allow others the space to do that for themselves too. It is important for us to feel alive on the inside, learn the importance of self -love, and discover our purpose for being on this beautiful planet called “earth” and our shared connectedness to each other. Self mastery is the key to “know thy self”.
